Service Standards - Personnel
- We ensure staff are well trained, motivated and contented to deliver high quality service(s) to the public
- We will ensure that the workforce reflects the local community
- We develop personnel policies in line with corporate aims
- We ensure that appropriate staff are employed to corporate and community needs
- We will consult the public and staff on issues affecting their wellbeing
To achieve these objectives the section aims to:

| Letters of enquiry | Respond within 5 working days |
| If we cannot answer letter/email within 5 working days | We will acknowledge and explain why |
| Telephone calls | Within 5 rings |
| Policies | We will continually review our policies to ensure they are in line with legislation and notify managers |
| Advice | We will endeavour to give advice to manager over the phone immediately. Where some research is required we will return a call to the manager with 24 hours |
| Recruitment request | Action within 5 working days dependant on publication dates |
| Major health and safety issues | Respond immediately or within 24 hours |
| Accidents at work | Reported to HSE in accordance with RIDDOR |
| Contracts of employment | Issued within 5 working days of request from manager |
| Request for training | Respond within 48 hours on receipt of request form |
