Shrewsbury Northern Corridor Regeneration Study

The north east part of Shrewsbury and in particular the transport corridor between Battlefield roundabout and the town centre is the subject of a comprehensive planning, transport and regeneration study.

Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council commissioned consultants ARUP to conduct the study with the support of Shropshire County Council and Advantage West Midlands. A Steering Group of local councillors, business and community representatives will work closely with the consultants to ensure that all relevant social, economic and environmental issues are fully understood and for an Area Action Plan to be produced that effectively tackles these issues. The study began in April 2006 and was completed in March 2007.

Consultation

A six week public consultation of the Executive Summary of the Shrewsbury Northern Corridor Masterplan and Implementation Strategy ran from Friday the 30th March 2007 and finished on Friday the 11th May. Please click on the icon below to view the document.
