Grass Cutting

The Council cuts Amenity Grass that it owns every 14-16 working days in summer between end March and end October subject to climatic conditions.

We will cut the grass on the following Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council owned land:

• Recreation Ground
• Parks
• Public Open Spaces
• Closed Churchyards
• Cemeteries
• Ornamental Areas
• Sponsored Floral Features
• Highway verges (we undertake contract grass cutting for Shropshire County Council)

We do not cut the grass on the following:

• Rural locations roadside verges owned by Shropshire County Council
• Privately Owned Land

If you are a resident in a Severnside Housing Association property and feel for any reason that you can no longer cut your grass (eg very elderly, infirm or disabled etc.) in the first instance you must contact Severnside Housing Association Tel:  0845 2342424
