The Council's audited Statement of Accounts 2006/07 are prepared in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in Great Britain.

The Summary of Accounts ia a highly abridged version of the Statement of Accounts. It summarises the Council's Income and Expenditure Account, Balance Sheet and Collection Fund and includes a brief description of the Council's performance in 2006/07.

The Annual Governance Report is the District Auditor's report on the audit of the Council's acconts and financial systems for 2006/07. It includes certification of the 2006/07 accounts.
