Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council have made a wide range of services available electronically. From receiving your latest Council Tax bill electronically to paying your bill in the convenience of your home.

If you would like to view your Council Tax bill and details about your account online you will need to register yourself with our Council Tax team. Once you have registered you will be able to log in and check your account.

Council Tax E-Billing

Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council are now able to offer council tax and business rate payers the option of receiving their council tax and business rates bill by e-mail, rather than receiving a paper bill in the post. 

In addition to e-billing, taxpayers in the Borough can request a password and log on to their council tax and business rates account via the Council's website www.shrewsbury.gov.uk where they can view their council tax or non-domestic rates details and any related correspondence that has been sent to them.

Once you have registered

Once you have registered, you will receive any future bills in a pdf document to your email address. If you email address changed, please update us with your new one.

Direct Debit

You can also pay for your Council Tax by Direct Debit. Direct Debit ensures your payment goes out of your account if there is sufficient funds without having to worry about any paper work. For more information please visit our pay by Direct Debit section of the website.

Pay your Bill

You can pay for your Council Tax online. Our payment system is secured by 128bit encryption ensuring all sensitive communication is safe. Our payment system can only accept transactions through Internet Explorer. We are awaiting a cross brower upgrade shortly from our suppliers.
