NEW FUNdamentals - Multi skills club

What is it?

The new multi skills club is designed to try and provide children with a generic sports experience. The aim is that they will develop fundamental movement skills, which will enhance their sporting ability in future years.

Over the weeks the children will be coached in a variety of sports such as tag rugby, cricket, basketball etc, but these activities will be inter linked to gain a multi skill experience.

All sessions will be run by qualified sports coaches who currently run the after school coaching programme, in primary schools

The aim:

• To provide structured and fun coaching sessions
• To develop fundamental motor skills (running, throwing, catching, jumping etc)
• To develop athleticism (agility, balance, co-ordination, speed)
• To provide a multi skill experience
