    • 6 Tarmac Tennis Courts (3 floodlit)
    • Multi Sport All Weather Area comprising 5 -A-Side Soccer, Tennis, Netball, and Basketball.
    • 1, 35 x 70m floodlit synthetic multisport all weather area comprising 5-A-Side Soccer, Volleyball, Netball, Hockey and Tennis.
    • 2 Croquet Lawns.
    • 1 Bowling Green, Children's Play Area with Bark Safety Surface Putting Green Facility.
    • 2 Senior Football Pitches and Kick about Area
    • 1 Skateboard/BMX Park fully operational, Male/Female Changing and Car Parking
    • 1 BMX area 3 tracks for all levels of skill.
    • 1 Children's play area.

    Children's After School Weekend, Holiday Activities and Sports Development

    The Centre organises a wide variety of children's activities and coaching courses for 5-14 year olds during school holiday, evenings and weekends.

    Key Play Scheme

    This scheme has been introduced by Shrewsbury Leisure for the benefit of Borough Council residents.  The scheme is designed to enable access (via a rented gate key) to sporting facilities at locations that are not normally manned or available for public use during all or certain day time periods.

    What is included at Monkmoor

    Eight tarmac tennis courts and one crown bowling green (synthetic football pitch via corporate key pass)
    All activities are supervised by trained/qualified staff.  The centre is registered and complies with the requirements of the 1989 Children Act.

    Maximum period of hire = Full Financial Year.
    (Accounts raised quarterley)
    Casual/Team Bookings accepted in accorance with space availability.
