2007 Results

2007 again saw a record number of entries for the Road Race 170 in total and 30 competitors for the fun run.
Entries came from as far away as Oswestry, Stratford, Rugeley, Liverpool and Manchester. This year we had an increase in runners who are not affiliated to clubs, many of whom had not run an organised race before.
The winners of the main race were Paul Ward from Wrekin Road Runners, second was Joe Brocklehurst from Stratford Upon Avon Athletics Club, third was David Atkinson from Liverpool Harriers Athletics Club.
The first female was Denise Sanders from Telford Athletic CLub.
The race was marshalled by members of the Shropshire Shufflers, without their help the race would not be possible.

The Fun Run which was a mile around the Quarry was won by George Oliver from Bomere Heath, second was Matthew Eardley from Copthorne and third was James Eardley from Copthorne.
