The aims and objectives of this Plan are to;

• Lead by example

• Reduce single occupancy use of cars

• Reduce unnecessary travel

• Reduce vehicle emissions to air

• Promote alternatives to traveling by car

• Improve the quality of life for residents and visitors within Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council

• Promote the use of more fuel efficient and environmentally–friendly cars

At the Frankwell Offices specifically;

• To reduce the number of vehicles predicted to enter the site, thereby reducing congestion at Frankwell roundabout and reducing vehicle emissions to air.

Specific measurable targets will be set by and reported bi-annually by the Travel Plan Steering Group.
