Pay For It
There are a number of ways that we can accept payment for services.
Many are simply paid for at the time the service is delivered - such as swimming or car parking, whilst others, such as planning applications, can be paid for by means of a cheque accompanying your completed forms.
We also encourage you to use direct debit where this is appropriate - in particular for paying your Council Tax.
Electronic Payments
We can only accept transactions through Internet Explorer. We are currently awaiting a cross browser upgrade to our payment system from our suppliers.
Using our Electronic Payments system you can pay for the following;
- Council Tax
- Parking Fines
- Business Rates
- Housing Benefit Overpayment Invoice
- Sundry Debts (including Music Hall hire and Commercial Refuse)
- Submit-a-Plan Applications
Security
Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
For example, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with controlled access that are located in secure facilities. When we transmit sensitive information over the internet, we protect it through 128bit Encryption using SSL certification.
