A boundary review was undertaken in 2004 and Wollaston was disbanded, with the Parish being split between Alberbury with Cardeston Parish and Westbury Parish.

 

This area does not have a shop, post office or pubs and there is no main sewerage in the Parish.

 

Local places of interest are the church at Wollaston with its brass plaque commemorating the life and birthplace of Thomas Parr who lived to be 152 years old and is buried in Westminster Abbey and a beacon, beside the church, to be lit in the event of an invasion from Wales.
