In September and October 2002, Minsterley Parish Council in partnership with Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council undertook a survey of local housing need in Minsterley. The purpose of the survey was to help the Parish Council and the Borough Council ensure any development proposals meet local need (if there is any).
