These two parishes are in the central south of the Borough and contain part of the South Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The Lawley, a distinctive humped-backed hill that lies in tandem with Caer Caradoc.

 

Leebotwood is a fairly dispersed linear settlement located along the A49 trunk road approximately five kms south of Dorrington and has a post office, public house and an employment site adjacent to the railway. Additional accesses onto the heavily trafficked A49 should be carefully considered.
