Parish of Church Pulverbatch
The Parish comprises three individual settlements situated within or in the edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. as follows:
Church Pulverbatch is a Conservation Area village with a church and village hall. Some development has occurred in recent years, e.g. farm building conversions. There is no village boundary because the development of open spaces between buildings would destroy the dispersed settlement pattern, vital to the character and setting of the Conservation Area.
Castle Pulverbatch has a number of dwellings and two public houses. Some development has occurred in recent years e.g. farm building conversions. Few infilling or conversion opportunities now remain. The village lies completely within the AONB.
Wrentnall is a small village with a number of dwellings and two farms. Some development has occurred in recent years, e.g. conversions of farm buildings and of a disused chapel.
