What A Performance!

The 3rd annual International Street Theatre Festival Aug. 29, 30 &31 2008, is rapidly approaching.  Once again the town centre will be closed to traffic and the very best performers from around the world will be performing on the streets of Shrewsbury.

Performers will be coming to Shrewsbury from Canada, USA, Portugal and Australia.

This year’s acts include:
Flying Bob and his death defying tight rope act
Thom Selectomy, sword-swallowing comedy show
Skate Naked, 2 British acrobats performing in fantastic costumes
The 2 Sopranos, sisters who will be singing opera on the streets
Pedro Tochas, a well know celebrity in Lisbon, performs his award winning silent clown
The German Wheel, a husband and wife team who will astound you with a large circus wheel, plus many more.

Rated as the top 5 things to do in the UK, this is a family friendly event suitable for all ages.
