The Guildhall offices will be closed to the public on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July due to Industrial Action.
It is also expected that the Music Hall, Old Market Hall and Visitor Information Centre will also be closed.
Refuse collection, street cleansing and parks services are expected to be as normal, as are all leisure facilities (Sports Village, Quarry Swimming Centre and Sports Centres).
Members of the public are encouraged to contact the Council (01743 281000) on these days to check if the service they require is available.
An industrial dispute resulting in a strike is a difficult time for us all. Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council is a responsible employer and wishes to act sensibly in order that all its staff feel comfortable in any decision they make either to withdraw their labour on not.
