This free festival will be showcasing some of Shropshire’s best local musical talent including the CORE, SPET and Empathy as well as our headliner the Anomalies and Beacon Radio’s Breakfast show host Ryan Kennedy.

The festival is always well received with audience numbers reaching the thousands. This year the event will include a bouldering wall, skate board half-pipe, dance exhibitions, tabletop football competition, sport, games, semi-permanent tattooing and the Company of Cyclists bicycle road-show as well as much more.

International graffiti artist Kels will be producing the ever-popular graffiti boards.

Other activities will include a table top football tournament, football goal shoot
competition, smoothies, re-cycling clothes stall, bungee-run and loads more.

The Community Regeneration Team is keen to support young people in all kinds of entrepreneurial ventures and its aim has always been to show how young people contribute positively to the county. ‘Teenage Kicks’ is one of few venues that offers young people an opportunity to showcase their music and we like to work closely with The Hive so that enthusiastic young people can pursue their musical interests.  Visit the Teenage Kicks MySpace webpage to listen to some of the bands and sign up as a friend and help make this years festival the best so far and work with us to make next years even better.
