Smart Cards for Concessionary Travel

Release Date: 28 March 2008

From 1 April 2008, residents will be able to use new smart cards for concessionary travel as part of a new national scheme. The supplier of these cards has confirmed that the cards for SABC residents will be in the post today (28 March 2008) and tomorrow, 29 March 2008.

If these cards are not delivered by 1 April 2008, then residents can continue using their existing cards for travel within the borough.
