We will be having lots of fun activities including face painting, space hopper races, skipping and painting. We’ll also be smoothie making so come along and join the fun.

Dorothy Jones Play Development Officer for Through the Doorway to Healthy Living and Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council said, “We are joining forces with the playbus to give children and young people as well as their parents and carers a fun day out during half term. We have also booked for a demonstration of an exciting piece of play equipment to be tested on the day. PLayworld Play equipment are bringing along a NEOS electronic game which encourages physical activity by having nine exciting, highly motivating games each with different skills levels. So come along and try it out and tell us what you think of it.”

The ice cream van will be there and for parents and carers there’s the Poolside Café where you can enjoy a cappuccino.

The Reccy Ranger Play & Street Sports project have played with over 250 children and young people in play and sport throughout the Easter Holidays in both urban and rural communities all over Shrewsbury and we look forward to as many over the half term.
