Outdoor Opera Sure To Delight

It’s opera – but not as we know it.

Garden Opera Company return to Shrewsbury on the 20th July to stage an outdoor production of a comic masterpiece, Donizetti’s Don Pasquale.

The fully professional company were THE BIG HIT of the last three Summer Seasons. All 500 seats were sold every year and as many promenaders saw the show for free.
The Garden Opera Company has a ten-year reputation for good quality and highly popularist presentations of much-loved operas. They usually perform in country estates – but in 2005 they grasped the challenging opportunity to perform in Shrewsbury’s historic paved Square

This production has been set in the age of flares and flick-backs, the nineteen seventies and there’s certain to be a few surprises.

The Opera in the Square performance starts at 6.00 p.m.
