New Scheme of Delegation for Planning Applications

Following on from consultation with stakeholders, Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council now have a new scheme of delegation for Planning Applications. From 22nd April 2008, non-contentious planning applications can be processed more quickly by delegated officers.
The new scheme will allow all applications to be determined by the Planning Services Manager or authorised officers unless the application has to go to Committee under the new rules.
