The author of ‘Darwin’s Garden’ will be in Shrewsbury on Saturday 5th July at 2.00 p.m. to talk about his new book and sign copies.
Michael Boulter is a writer and distinguished scientist and his book tells the story of how Darwin developed his garden in Kent into a living laboratory that became vital to the formulation of his groundbreaking theories.
The venue is Pengwern Books in Princess Street, a small independent bookshop. The organisers of the Darwin Bicentenary Celebrations have been contacted by a number of publishers wishing to launch books in Darwin’s hometown.
The event is timed to begin after the ‘Faces of Evolution’ Parade that will begin on Pride Hill at 1.15 p.m. and end in The Square a short walk from the bookstore.
