Customer Charter and Procedures

The County, Borough and District Councils of Shropshire are committed, in partnership, to the development of a parking enforcement service to enhance the quality of life of people throughout Shropshire; this will be known as the ParkRight Partnership.

 

This document covers our commitments to the public, our "Charter" and describes the operation of the ParkRight Service.  It will shortly be updated in order to meet the requirements of the Traffic Management Act 2004 Part 6.

 

 

The aim of this document is to be user friendly describing all tasks to be undertaken under the ParkRight service and to explain the links between SABC, the partner Councils it represents and outside agencies that will provide a service and resources to the office such as the Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), the Traffic Enforcement Centre (TEC) and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal (TPT).

 

This document will also be used for training purposes for all staff from Civil Enforcement Officers (Parking) through to Notice Processing staff.

 

It is our intention to keep this document jargon free.
