Disabled Parking

On-Street

Marked disabled parking spaces are available throughout the town centre and are free.

In addition, Blue Badge holders can park in the On-Street Pay & Display bays without charge, provided the Blue Badge (serial no. & expiry date face up) is clearly on display.

Please check the Blue Badge Scheme Handbook for guidance on where not to park on-street.

Off-Street

In all off-street car parks normal charges apply, although extra wide marked bays are provided for those who require extra door opening space.

The Blue Badge and Clock must be clearly displayed at all times together with a pay and display ticket.

Shopmobility

Users of the Shopmobility service in the Raven Meadows Car Park, irrespective of status, pay only for the first hour of parking. For details phone: 01743 236900
