Spaceguard Centre

A working astronomical observatory in a stunning location, part of the international Spaceguard Project that aims to find asteroids and comets that could collide with the Earth, and stop such a catastrophe happening.  The observatory has a planetarium, camera obscura, orrey, meteorites and a variety of telescopes large and small.

Conducted tours at 10.30am, 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
Admission: Adults £5.00. Children £2.50.
