Vehicles

If the Environmental Health Officer is satisfied that a statutory nuisance exists , he can serve a notice requiring its abatement , prohibiting the nuisance or restricting the nuisance .
Examples of noise we cannot deal with are:
- Children / Youths causing annoyance
- Road traffic noise
Low frequency noise (LFN) can create problems for some people, but in most cases is unlikely to be a statutory nuisance. Central government, through DEFRA are funding a help programme for people suffering from persistant LFN problems.
