TB in Cattle
The State Veterinary Service monitors TB infection in cattle by undertaking regular Bovine TB testing. Further information is available on the DEFRA TB Home Page
If a test becomes overdue then Environmental Health is advised so that investigation can be undertaken to ensure that all milk produced is heat-treated before being used for human consumption.
