Dog Control Orders

Shrewsbury and Atcham Brough Council has made Dog Control Orders under Section 55 of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005.  These Orders give the Council greater powers to control dog activity within the borough.  They  stipulate areas where dogs are excluded; areas where dogs are required to be on a lead; areas where dog owners may be asked to keep dogs on a lead if officers consider it necessary and also to control dog fouling.
