Shrewsbury is within the West Midlands region for the European Parliament.
The West Midlands region includes: Shropshire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Wrekin, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and Worcestershire.
Elections took place on 10th June 2004, with the count taking place and results being announced on 13th June 2004.
