Retailers Update September 07
Summer Season
Early September saw the finale of this years Summer Season with the International Street Theatre Festival, Heritage Open Days and Carriage Parade rounding off the programme. Despite the wettest summer ever the events drew great crowds into the town. Favourites included Romeo & Juliet at the Castle, Civil War commemorations and the second Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
These events really liven up the town centre bringing in people and boosting the local economy. If you have any comments, feedback or ideas for next year please contact us melanie.cousins@shrewsbury.gov.uk 01743 281204
