Responsible Authorities - Licensing Act 2003 & Gambling Act 2005

When applying for, or seeking to vary a Premises Licence or Club Premises Certificate an applicant must send a copy of their application to the following Responsible Authorities: 

1. The Licensing Officer, Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury.  SY3 8HQ.

2. The Licensing Officer, West Mercia Constabulary, Much Wenlock Police Station, Smithfield Road, Much Wenlock, Shropshire.  TF13 6BD

3. Planning Services Manager Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury.  SY3 8HQ.

4. Environmental Health Manager, Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury.  SY3 8HQ. (Also responsible for Health & Safety)

5. Fire Officer, Shropshire Fire and Rescue, St Michael's Street, Shrewsbury.  SY1 1HJ.

6. Child Protection, Shropshire County Council, The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury.  SY2 6ND.

7. Trading Standards, Shropshire County Council, The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury.  SY2 6ND.

For Premises Licences under Gambling Act 2005 in addition to the above, also send to:
