Concessionary Travel
Various forms of concessions are available for certain groups of people when travelling by public transport.
Do I qualify for concessionary travel?
If you fall into one of the following groups of people, you may be eligible for concessionary travel;
- Senior citizens (men and women aged 60 years or over).
- People registered blind or partially sighted.
- People registered deaf and/or partially sighted.
- People who are registered deaf and/or with profound speech impairment.
- People who have a serious learning disability.
- People who are not permitted to drive on medical grounds.
- People without the use of both arms.
- People who have a disability that severely impairs their ability to walk.

How do I apply?
You must be a permanent resident in Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough, and you must provide various forms of documents when applying.
- Proof of residency, such as a gas, electricity or council tax bill.

Proof of age, such as birth certificate, passport or medical card (if applicable).

Proof of disability (if applicable).

Nationwide Bus Pass
Your application form will be provided and completed when you call in to our Customer Services Reception at the Guildhall, Frankwell Quay.
