Vacancy for 2 Parish Councillors - Alberbury with Cardeston

There are currently two vacancies on the above Council. 

One vacancy has been caused by the sudden death of Councillor Graham Edwards.  The vacancy has been advertised for the statutory period, but no requests for a by-election to fill the vacancy were received.  The Parish Council may now fill this vacancy by co-option.

Unfortunately the other vacancy cannot be filled at the present time, as an Order is required to amend the parish constitution.  It is anticipated that the vacancy will be filled in May 2009 when the cycle for electing the full Council is due.
