There are 62km (38 miles) of passenger railway lines in the borough of Shrewsbury and Atcham, but only one station.

 

Shrewsbury's railway station is situated on Castle Gates near to the Castle in the town centre. The main Council offices (The Guildhall), Bus Station and the town centre are all within a few minutes walk of the station.

 

There are main line services to Shrewsbury from all over the UK including Manchester and Birmingham and there are good connections.
