Art for Relaxation
Friday afternoons during term-time from 12.45 to 2.40pm at Castlefields Community Centre. A free crèche is also available. Places are limited so please book.
You don't need to be an artist to go. I've met so many people from different backgrounds with different stories to tell. The tutor makes you welcome and makes me laugh. It was the first Sure Start activity that I went to, but I now go to lots of other things. I miss it when I don't go.
All the King's Men Sculpture Walk - Harlescott Grange
Walking is a great form of exercise and this walk is only a mile long. On the way around you will find 6 pieces of sculpture depicting elements of the Battle of Shrewsbury. If you would like a route map please give me a call or otherwise go to out website at www.allthekingsmen.org.uk
If you like the sound of any of these activities, but the thought of walking into places for the first time fills you with terror, please don't be put off. All our staff are friendly and will do their best to make you feel welcome, and if you would like someone to go with for the first few times we can arrange that too. So why not get in touch NOW before you persuade yourself that it is not a good idea.
