Education is a function of Shropshire County Council, and as such their website provides a variety of information in relation to school travel.  The Travel to School or College section of their website includes a school travel calendar and links to useful websites.  Their website also highlights the availability of transport assistance for pupils in specific circumstances, and provides details for applying for transport assistance.

A Safer Routes to School initiative run by the County Council promotes safer, more environmentally sustainable and healthier ways of travelling to and from school by encouraging people to walk, cycle and use public transport.
